It Should Be Front Page News Everywhere

I'm not really surprised that more people are not screaming about a cover-up of the murder of our Ambassador to Libya. It made today's N.Y. Times...on page three! If there had been a Republican Administration in place, it would have been front page news every day since it happened, but the Liberal Media seems to be complicit in attempting to hide the involvement of the White House in a cover-up on the magnitude of Watergate, except that no one died in the Watergate scandal. Four people died in Benghazi. Ambassador Stevens had himself asked for more Security personnel, and the Head of Security for Libya and nearby countries had also asked for additional security personnel. Six times they asked, six times they were refused.

 Ambassador Stevens had also told the State Dept. that his life had been threatened, and that a few weeks earlier, someone had blown a hole in the outer wall of the consulate large enough for forty men to walk through, side by side. Now THAT is a very large hole! Perhaps the CNN reporter who found Chris Stevens' journal was mistaken about that, or the hole had been repaired, because the attackers of 9-11-12 didn't enter that way, but instead blew the front gate off and walked through the front door, so to speak. Almost as soon as the attack started, Consulate personnel were on the phone to the State Dept., telling them they were under attack with heavy weapons. The Deputy Secretary of State, who took the call, told the House Committee on Oversite and Government Reform that she watched the attack unfold on her video screen in "almost real time". And yet the White House, for two weeks, continued saying that there had been a spontaneous crowd of protesters of the 15 minute video of someone pretending to be Mohammed, that got out of control. Even two weeks, to the day, after the attack, Obama was at the United Nations saying the same thing. He had to know, at that time, that there was no protest in Benghazi. 

The cover-up is so blatant that now even the W.H. reporters of some of the Liberal Media were hammering Jay Carney for information, either refuting what Biden said last night during the debate, or confirming that no one in the White House knew that extra security personnel had been requested. He insisted that Biden was correct. If that really is the case, then the Obama Administration is either the most incompetent White House ever, or their lack of concern about the death of four Americans, one of whom, of course, was Ambassador Stevens, is disgusting and frightening, I'm sure, to every American employed at one of our Embassies in the entire Middle East and Northern Africa.  He was the first ambassador killed in the line of duty in over forty years. And yet, the White House is content to throw the intellegence community under the bus, insisting that they told the W.H. over and over that it was a protest gone out of control, when sworn testimony in Committee questioning belies that entire scenario.

Hillary Clinton, being the Secretary of State, is ultimately responsible for decisions involving all of our embassies. Are we to believe that she never told Obama that our Ambassador in Libya thought that things were getting a bit dicey, or that the Al Quida operatives in Libya were becoming more aggressive? Or is it true that Obama regularly skips his daily intelligence reports? That would point to incompetence AND nonchalance about foreign events. Maybe he really does believe that he has the entire Middle East feeling so good about us that there couldn't possibly be any real problems. And Bidens' insistence that Republican budget cuts had been the reason for denying more security to Stevens was also contradicted, under oath, in the Committee hearing.

So, what is the reason for the cover-up? It's looking more and more like the White House is much more involved, in some way,for the information time line of the attacks in Benghazi, and the murder of four Americans by men associated with Al Quida in Libya.Will the truth come out before the election, or after? Guess we'll have to wait and see, but I believe it has the potential to bring down the Obama White House. We can only hope.        

Obama's policies at the root of Middle East unrest.

Alright, things are blowing up, figuratively speaking, so far, in the Middle East, and now in North Africa. We have an Ambassador and three other consulate employees murdered, and massive demonstrations in most of the countries in the Middle East and Tunisia in North Africa. Supposedly this was all in response to a short, amateur film that is less than kind to Mohammad. The first thing that the Embassy in Egypt did, in response to the first wave of protesters, was to issue a memo that apologized for what an American did, in exercise of his freedom of speech, that radical Muslims saw as an insult to Islam.  But I don't believe the film was the cause of the protests, and neither should you, despite what the dinosaur media seems to be saying most of the time. This was a coordinated attack, in many countries at almost the same time, with the goal of killing as many people as possible. It would have been much worse if our Ambassador hadn't sent most of the employees home before it escalated. Ambassador Christopher Stevens was not initially in the consulate in Benghazi, but was summoned from Tripoli when the protests first started. He was in the process of trying, in his car, to remove himself and the three employees from the consulate compound, but was cut off, or ambushed, and killed by a Rocket Propelled Grenade.  We lost track of Ambassador Stevens for nine hours Tuesday night, during which time Obama went to bed! I guess not knowing where your Ambassador to Libya is isn't reason enough to stay on the phone to that country, or to anybody else that we have worked with over there, until he is found. Well, Obama did have an early call to get to Las Vegas for a fund-raiser event, and sleep is a wonderful thing, isn't it?

Obama's foreign policy of apology and appeasement is at the root cause of the violence and protests taking place in the middle East and North Africa at this time. He has made us look weak to the rest of the world, and the consequences are beginning to take place. On top of that, Obama has reportedly not been to his daily intellegence briefing since  September 5, or he would have known about the suspected unrest, and the concern about the 11th Anniversary of 9/11. They had information that there might be unrest in the Islamic countries, but, although he supposedly read the briefings every morning, I guess he didn't see fit to beef up the security around our Embassies and Consulates, despite having been warned that we had intelligence saying that something was going to happen on that day. Obama's policies have reduced us as a Super Power in the rest of the World, and even the Russians are laughing at us. Did you hear that when the retired Navy General that spoke at the Democratic Convention was delivering his speech, there was a picture on the SuperCam screens of three huge American warships? Oh, wait, those were RUSSIAN warships! Whoever made that mistake, if it was a mistake, probably got a tiny slap, but I imagine that the Russian Generals of those warships got a huge laugh out of it. And never doubt,  they did hear about it. I listened to a call from an American teacher at a University in China on Tuesday, and he said that even the students laugh at us in China.  It's time to get a President who will restore America to Super Power status, and who will make it clear to the world that we will not tolerate violence like what took place Monday night and Tuesday morning. It's time to elect Mitt Romney. 








   

Liar, Liar, Pants On Fire!

Barack Obama is a compulsive, pathological liar. About 40% of everything that comes out of his mouth is a lie. Even his supposed autobiography "Dreams From My Father" is a lie, composed of melds of several people into one for several characters, for the sake of expediency. He has admitted that this is true, and therefore whole portions of the book are a lie. A lie is a falsehood that you know is a falsehood, even if you write it instead of speaking. He has lied since before he was elected. He said, when asked about his relationship with domestic terrorist and avowed Communist Bill Ayers, that he was "just a guy who lived down the street", yet they served on the board of a foundation together and Obama announced his Presidential campaign in Ayers living room. Sounds like more than 'just a guy down the street' to me. It was a lie.

In June of 2005, just months after Obama took office as a U.S. Senator, he and Tony Rezko, now a convicted felon currently in prison, bought properties next to each other so that Obama could get the Greenwood Mansion for a much-reduced price. Obama would not have been able to make that deal alone. Rezko was commonly known to be a Chicago 'slum lord', with real estate connections. But Obama lied about their relationship, saying that Rezko was an 'acquaintance' from Chicago. Oh, really, Obama? That was a lie.

During his presidential campaign Obama stated that his mother was denied health insurance because of a pre-existing condition,  and died of cancer that went untreated. He used her picture in a political ad, and made the claim over and over in his speeches. In fact, his mother had health insurance through her employer, and was only denied disability insurance. Blatant lie.

For 20 years the Obama family sat in the pews of the church of Jeremiah Wright while Wright spewed hatred for America, even stating that we deserved 9/11, when the "Chickens came home to roost." Obama stated that he became a Christian in Wright's church, and he was even married there. But when Americans began to hear some of the words that issued from Wright's mouth every Sunday, well, Obama suddenly "Never heard any of that sort of thing" coming from Wright, and he quickly distanced himself, basically throwing Wright under the bus. Wright has recently come out and said that he felt "horribly betrayed" by the man he had once called friend, and that he was offered money to just go away for a while. Obama lied once again.

When Obama was selling his $787 billion dollar stimulus bill, he constantly said that "shovel ready jobs would be created all across the nation". He even admitted later that that was a lie when he said "There is no such thing as a shovel ready job."

During the whole 2008 presidential campaign Obama said over and over that lobbyists would lose their influence in his administration, as in "...I don't take a dime of their money, and when I am President, they won't find a job in my White House", yet at least a dozen former lobbyists got top jobs in his White House at the beginning of his administration. Another lie.

I could go on.There are several lies dealing with the promised "transparency" of his administration. And I'll wait a little while before delving into the lies around the "Fast and Furious" program, or the blatant lies that Obama and his operatives are spewing about Mitt Romny. And there are others, too. What would we find if his college records were actually released, or if the media finally vetted Obama, instead of fawning all over him? Oh, well, THAT will never happen, but maybe with all of the leaks around D.C. for the last three and a half years, maybe there is hope of seeing those college records after all. Probably not, though. If Obama does get reelected, the lies will go on unabated, I'm sure, but we can all, or at least those of us who are rational and love America, we can all pray that it doesn't happen.      

Fast and Furious

Well, it took me more than the 24 or so hours I said that I would need to  get back to the blog, but I'm here now, so I'll write. There is so much going on right now in the world of politics that it's hard to decide on a subject. We could discuss all of the lies that Obama has told in the last few years, or his war on religion, but I think that the mess known as "Fast and Furious" is what I want to concentrate on this time.


If you don't know exactly what 'Fast and Furious' means, or what it stands for, you are not alone because the 'Dinosaur Media' has not spent virtually any time talking about it. They know that this is one of the Obama Administration's biggest mistakes, if not the very biggest. "Fast and Furious" is the name given to a gunwalking debacle that took the life of a border agent, Brian Terry. Gunwalking refers to the selling of multiple rifles and 'long guns'  at the same time, and the ATF not only knew that these guns were going to Mexican drug lords, they encouraged gun sellers to make the deals, with the specific intention in the beginning of tracking the guns. But even after loosing complete control of the guns right from the get-go, the ATF continued to tell the gun dealers to make the sale of multiple guns at a time. CBS News has gotten hold of several e-mails between ATF agents talking about the program, and the fact that they could use the sales of these guns as a reason to further inhibit the sale of guns to law abiding Americans.  After Border Agent Brian Terry was killed, and the guns at the scene were identified, the program came to light, much to the Administrations' chagrin. But although Attorney General Eric Holder has been before a House Committee several times since then, the public still cannot say that we know who in the ATF thought of this insane program, or who signed off on it. Eric Holder has been stonewalling from day one, stating that he didn't know anything about it, nor did Obama. In January of last year, he submitted a letter to the Committee that lay the blame on agents of the ATF, and saying that they had been removed from their jobs. That letter was subsequently found to have several false statements in it, and it was withdrawn.Holder has since provided around 7300 papers to the Committee, but has denied the over 130,000 other papers that have been subpoenaed. Now, with a Congressional vote due on Thursday to hold the Attorney General in Contempt of Congress, Obama has asserted his right to declare the requested papers to be under Executive Privilege, thus keeping them out of the hands of the Committee, at least until after the election. A Federal Judge will look at the papers in question and decide whether or not they do fall under the blanket of Executive Privilege. Perhaps someone will convince the Judge to expedite the review and his decision, perhaps not. 


But I really believe that the' Fast and Furious' program was meant to allow Obama and Holder to use the 'appearance' of these assault rifles to call for stricter laws dealing with the sale and ownership of this and other types of rifles or assault rifles. After all, Obama had already stated that there were guns from the U.S. being used to kill and spread mayhem,(my words), to our neighbor to the South, But that turned out not to be true, leaving him possibly being found out to be the serial liar that he is. Instead, they happened on this ill-conceived program that was never really fleshed out, or used, during the Bush years; they changed the outline to hide the fact that Obama lied, and it would also offer them the chance to ram tougher gun laws through, thus giving the Left something they had been after for more than a decade. Meanwhile, the Terry family still does not have the answers that they want, and deserve, about their son's death, and why it occurred. And neither do the American people. Not to mention the families of the more than 300 Mexicans who were also killed by some of these guns. But not to worry, since the Obama Administration and the Left are all for the rights of the Brown folks in America. Just not those in Mexico I guess.They are on their own with the drug gangs and their 'coyotes'.   

     There are two very big issues that, surprisingly enough,( yeah, right), have received absolutely zero coverage in the dinosaur media. Let's all put on our shocked faces now! If the Network News is all you watch, or if you only read the New York Times, you will have heard nothing about the lawsuits, all 42 of them, brought against the Obama Administration for their having overstepped their boundaries in issuing the decision about what constitutes a church, what with the mandates about carrying health insurance that provides for birth control. Before you continue, you might want to read the 1st Amendment to the Constitution if this doesn't make your stomach knot up! Many pundits and politicians are stating that there are waivers for churches to excuse them from various parts of Obamacare, and they would be right. However, the Feds have decided what the definition of a church is, and it states that a church may not hire anyone not of their faith, nor serve, (as in 'provide medical care' for one thing), anyone not of their faith. So, Notre Dame, nor Georgetown can educate anyone who is not Catholic, and all of the Catholic hospitals and clinics and other schools are not to be allowed to serve all of the people who seek the aforementioned education or medical services. Really? REALLY?? Since when does the Federal Government get to say what is or is not a church? This is one of the most blatant power grabs in the history of the United States. Oh, wait, Obama didn't go to school in the U.S. until he was in college, so he doesn't know what the history of this country is, does he? By the way, he was NOT a Constitutional Law Professor. He MIGHT have taught a law class as an undergrad, or even as a Doctoral student, but he was never paid as a Professor of any kind, so, again I say, he does not know the history of the U.S., just that of Hawaii, which was not a state yet at that point anyway. But all of the other people who are sworn in to uphold the laws of the U.S. should have spoken up about this. I hope the Tea Parties are paying attention, and that there are a lot of new people voted in, and sworn in come the Fall elections, not the least of which is Obama! Folks, even if you are not Catholic, it is important for you to contact your Congresspeople to voice your alarm about this tremendous expansion of power that Washington has decided is o.k., because it's NOT O.K.! This was the main reason that the Pilgrims came to America and started the whole Country...The King had decided that everyone had to belong to the Church of England. Now, come on, does anyone in D.C. even remember the 1st Amendment? Hello!! 


     This doesn't just apply to the Catholic Church, you know. Does your church own a clinic, or at least, run one? What about Food Pantries? Maybe they just have Missionaries, but they will not be allowed to carry the Word to anyone who isn't already a member of their Faith. Might kind of defeat the purpose, no? Maybe you don't have a problem with providing contraceptives, but how about theft? The Government is not only stealing your taxes, but now they have thrown out the document that has defined the U.S. for 236 years! If this were a Republican Administration, I would say the very same thing, because I feel that the Constitution is almost sacred. It defines who we are as a people. And the greatest freedoms espoused in the amendments is the Freedom of Religion and the Freedom of Speech. They are both in the First Amendment for a reason, as these are the freedoms granted to us by God, not by man. Not even Obama. And hopefully God will help us defeat that man in November!
